In 1911, RW "Pop" Snell founded Snell's Artificial Limbs, Braces and Trusses in Memphis, TN. His sons expanded the business into Arkansas in 1935 and Louisiana in 1939. Today, the practices in each state are individually owned by descendants of "Pop" Snell, with Snell's Orthotics and Prosthetics in Louisiana being locally owned and managed by Clint Snell, CPO.
