1975: Ronnie Snell serves as president of the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA), the trade organization for the O&P profession. He becomes the first person to serve as president of all three major O&P organizations.
1975: Rick Fleetwood begins career with Snell’s as manager of the Little Rock office.
1972: Ronnie Snell retires to Florida after selling five offices to Durr-Fillauer.
1972: Watergate Scandal begins.
1971: Clint Snell becomes an ABC examiner and helps to write the National Certifying Exam for practitioners.
1971: Ronnie Snell becomes a founding member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP). The Academy elects him as the first president.
